Do our customers need to create an account to use it?
No. The tool is free and open to use for anyone visiting your site — no login, no app download.

Is this matching against a generic stock database, or our actual products?
Only your catalog. Every match returned is a real product you carry, not a generic visual lookup.

How is a "match" calculated?
Our AI engine uses a machine learning process that compares visual attributes like color, tone, texture, pattern and finish between the uploaded photo and each item in your catalog, then returns the closest results ranked by similarity score.

What happens if there's no good match in our catalog?
The widget shows the closest available results along with an inquiry form, so the customer's photo and contact details are still captured as a lead for your team to follow up on personally.

How do we keep our catalog up to date?
As default, system expects an excel file with only four columns filled for your products. product code (if you are using), product name, product link and product image link. Once it is imported to our system, indexing process starts and indexes items and their images. With the "Pro" version, system uses your sitemap file(s) or product feeds for search engines to import images eliminating the need to work with Excel files and reducing the chance of human error.

How long does implementation take?
Product ingestion takes anywhere from minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the size of your catalog. Your domain needs to be confirmed with a simple DNS TXT record or by uploading a predefined empty HTML page. Once items are indexed and domain is confirmed, a special link will be provided to place in the iframe on your website.

Is our product data kept private?
We do not have any data on our system other than the image, name, code and product link (URL) of your products. The customer uploaded photos and customer information is only shared with your team, it is not shared or used for any marketing purposes by ImageFlow-ai and affiliates.
